Red Cross First Aid Training
Chances are that your employer requires staff members to be competently trained in Standard First Aid response.
SBC offers SFA CPR & AED course completion certificates that meet federal and provincial regulations. This certificate is valid for three years.
Once your certificate is earned, you qualify for renewal by attending a one-day course to keep your certification valid.
Whether you work from home or on location elsewhere, First Aid competency is a fantastic asset to have.

STANDARD FIRST AID LEVEL C
Safety Buzz Campus recommends Standard First Aid Level C CPR & AED for anyone needing training due to Work Requirements both On-Site and Work From Home or Emergencies at Home; suitable for New Parents.
Meets Federal and Provincial regulations. Valid for three years.

FIRST AID RECERTIFICATION
We can Re-Certify various First Aid Tickets through the Canadian Red Cross.
Be sure to bring your old certificate at Registration or email before class.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID
This course focuses on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to provide the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies, depending on the level of CPR chosen.

BLENDED STANDARD FIRST AID & CPR C
Blended Standard First Aid: 8 hours online learning*, 5.5-7.5 hours classroom practical
Day 1: 8 hr online course (contact our office to receive your online course code)
Day 2: Hands on practical at SBC to gain your standard first aid certification.
Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

BABYSITTING COURSE
This course offers basic First Aid and caregiving skills for youth 11–15 years old. Participants learn how to provide care to younger children in a variety of age groups, and how to prevent and respond to emergencies. This course also offers youth the training to promote themselves as a babysitter to prospective parents.

STAY SAFE
Real-world scenarios often call on children to respond to challenges. The Stay Safe! program teaches children ages 9 + applicable and age-appropriate skills, while increasing and reinforcing a youth’s capacity to improve his or her own safety. Whether in their community or on their own, this group will be given better tools to Stay Safe! in a variety of different situations. Duration: 5 to 6 hours.
